As an empowered data strategist, you can share in conversations about how your organization handles its data. You might be “leading from behind” as an analyst, but over time you’ll be recognized for your knowledge.

Also, having a better understanding of upstream processes — data storage, ETL, warehousing, querying, BI, etc. — will make you a more effective analyst.

So, yes, data analysts should consider this certification too!!
